1. Who We Are

This Privacy Policy explains how TrueStyler ("we," "us," or "our") collects, uses, and deletes your information when you use https://truestyler.ai. You can reach us at contact@truestyler.ai.

2. Data Collection & Purpose

We collect specific inputs to provide our virtual styling service:

• Photographs you upload, and the looks we generate from them.
• Physical demographics you provide (such as age range, gender, and height).
• Your styling conversation with the assistant.
• Account information (your email address and sign-in details), handled by our authentication provider.
• Billing information, handled by our payment processor. We never see or store your full card details.

3. How We Use Your Data

We use this data to provide the styling service, keep active sessions working, assist with recovery requests, diagnose technical problems, improve the app and user experience, and operate your account and billing.

We do not use your photos, conversations, or generated images to train AI models. We never use your photos for marketing, and we never sell your personal data.

4. Image and Body Analysis

To provide personalized styling and virtual try-ons, our service analyzes body proportions, posture, positioning, and other visual characteristics visible in uploaded photographs. This processing may produce a visual profile or measurements of image geometry, but we do not use this information to identify or authenticate you. Uploaded photographs and information derived from them are used only for the purposes described in Section 3 and are retained and deleted as described in Section 5.

5. Data Retention and Deletion

We retain session data for up to 7 days from the time a session is created. This short retention period keeps active sessions working without interruption, allows us to assist with recovery requests when possible, and gives us limited time to diagnose technical problems and improve the service.

Session data includes uploaded photos, generated looks, visual profiles, demographics, conversations, and stylist notes. It is automatically deleted after 7 days. You can delete it sooner at any time by choosing "Delete all session data" in your account menu. This deletes the session data associated with your account.

Your account information and records of how many looks you have used and which plan or credit paid for them are retained while your account exists so that your plan and balance work correctly.

We also retain a one-way, non-reversible fingerprint of your email address, including after account deletion. We cannot recover your email address from it. We use it only to determine whether an address has already received the free looks offered to new accounts or redeemed a particular gift or promotional code. It is not linked to your session data.

6. Account Deletion

You can delete your account at any time from "Manage account" in your account menu. When you do, we promptly and permanently delete all of your associated photos, generated images, profiles, conversations, and usage records, cancel any active subscription, and delete your customer profile at our payment processor. The only thing we keep is the one-way email fingerprint described in Section 5, which cannot be traced back to you. Our payment processor retains records of past transactions as required by law. Residual copies may persist in encrypted backups for a short period, generally no more than 30 days, before they are overwritten.

7. Third-Party Service Providers

We share information only with trusted service providers who help us operate the platform, subject to strict confidentiality and security obligations. These categories of providers include:

• Cloud Infrastructure & AI Providers: For secure application hosting, image storage, and processing generative AI tasks.
• Database Providers: For securely storing your styling history and account data.
• Authentication Services: For managing secure account creation and session logins.
• Payment Processors: For securely handling billing, subscriptions, and invoicing.

8. Cookies

We use only the cookies needed to keep you signed in. We do not use advertising or cross-site tracking cookies.

9. Security

Your data is encrypted in transit and at rest, and uploaded images are kept in private storage that is not publicly accessible.

10. Your Rights

Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have the right to request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal data. You can delete your account yourself at any time, or exercise any of these rights, including requesting a copy of data we still hold, by contacting us at contact@truestyler.ai.

11. Children

The service is not intended for anyone under 18. If we learn that we hold data about a minor, we will delete it.

12. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will change the "Last Updated" date above.
